The persistence of structural crises and the widespread uncertainty and volatility of any forecast on times, costs and resources for complex projects have nowadays become a challenge for managerial disciplines and for Total Cost Management in particular. The value, policy and social aspects seem to be taking on ever greater importance for each project, transforming it into a very complex project. The AICE – The Italian Association for Total Cost Management is engaged in research in this regard (see for example https://www.mdpi.com/2071-1050/14/19/12890 ) and asks experts in these disciplines to participate in an ongoing survey in this regard.
