I am trying to perform pushover and dynamic analysis of infill rc frame using single (unidirectional) and two strut model (crossed struts).

In my analysis the model with single strut shows better conformity with the expected failure pattern however with two strut model the pattern changes significantly. Also the modal periods of both models are different, possibly owing to the change in stiffness due to extra strut in opposite direction. Also the struts taken are massless with tension limits set to zero for struts. The requirement of crossed struts is essential for performing dynamic analysis whereas single strut shows to be sufficient to perform pushover analysis.

Kindly suggest me how to overcome this problem .

Thanks in advance.
