Large Language Models (LLMs) can transform physics education research by generating personalized content, simplifying abstract concepts, and analyzing student responses at scale. They can also assist in identifying learning gaps through natural language analysis and enhancing classroom interaction via AI tutors. In my research on AI-enhanced pedagogy for big data education, we applied similar strategies to boost engagement and learning outcomes—demonstrating that LLMs can serve as both analytical tools and learning companions, especially in concept-heavy fields like physics.
