I'm trying to create a helical gear using ANSYS Design Modeler API Script to make parametric gears studies. but i don't know how to perform a extrude with twisted helix of the gear. I think that maybe using extrude sweep along the path but i don't know ho to do that thing, because the help documentation provides an extremely limited explanation of only a few basic functions.
Any ideas?

I'm dealing with a similar problem... I'm facing it in this way...
I generate points through excel spreadsheet that also inject command in a jscript, both for the sweep path and the cross section.
then I read the two skectes inside the design modeler and then obtain the sweep body...
