Dear fellow researchers,
For my Final Year Project I am looking into different ways of modelling the interface between PVA and Gelatin. One of the methods I am doing is by using an "adhesive joint" between the two blocks, which is essentially a thin block between the two.
For some reason, I am getting an error when I attempt to submit my job telling me that one of the constraints references a region which contains geometric entities that are not associated with a mesh (as seen in the image). In this simulation I have two tied constrains which are tying the surfaces of the "adhesive joint" to the PVA and gelatin blocks.
I have looked through the user manuals but don't seem to understand how to associate the constraints with the bottom-up mesh I have had to use for the adhesive joint.
If any of you know how I can solve this issue that would be greatly appreciated.

Have you meshed the adhesive joint? What geometric characteristics does it have?
George Papazafeiropoulos I have meshed the adhesive joint using the "bottom-up" meshing method as this is advised in the user manual. It is an extruded rectangle which has a depth of 0.0002 units. For comparison, the two surrounding blocks have depths of 0.01 units.
After meshing the adhesive joint you have to redefine the contact pairs of its two sides.
George Papazafeiropoulos to define the contact pairs can this be done by using the constraints? Or does it need to be done using the interaction tool?
