Anethole is a phyto-compound that I have dissolved in DMSO. But, to plot a standard curve for anethole, the Absorbance values do not seem to change with increasing concentrations. (Note: Max. Absorbance of Anethole is 259 nm, Solubility of Anethole in DMSO is 10mM). Can someone help in guiding me towards finding the error
10 mM is a huge concentration. What is the absorbance value at 259 nm? Can you please show the spectra.
