How to Thaw bone marrow sample frozen in nitrogenwith DMSO?

Hi everybody,We have samples from Bone marrow, frozen in liquid nitrogen with DMSO Can some body have a good protocol to thawn sample and extract RNA to use in seRNA sequencing?

Dear Samira,

You can thaw frozen stem cells by bringing them to the room temperature slowly and add complete or incomplete media to stop the deleterious effect of DMSO to cells when they are being thawed. I would suggest 10 times dilution of DMSO should do the work and keep your cells intact.
