I am getting a convergence error in calculation of short circuit current (at V=0v under illumination condition) what could be the possible error in my model?
SCAPS is very sensitive to the input parameters, the convergence could be related to different parameters, usually dopant concentration or electron/hole mobilities values cause the convergence issues, try to check them one by one.
The software solves the equation numerically with appropriate boundary and initial conditions. Therefore, it may happen that the input material parameters may possess extreme values causing non-convergence. You may need to recheck your input parameters and adjust the values to practically achievable ones. In most of the cases, a slight change in Nc, Nv, ND, NA, or Eg value eliminates the problem.
