What are the methods to store the magnesium alloy before TEM or other analysis, so that magnesium alloy samples suffer minimum damage or oxidation to prevent false observations during characterization? Kindly recommend me the solution or liquid in which this alloy can be stored without degradation.
Store magnesium alloy samples in an argon/nitrogen-filled desiccator or vacuum-sealed bags to prevent oxidation. Use clean tweezers/gloves, wrap in aluminum foil, and keep in a dry, low-humidity environment. For long-term storage, use cold storage (-80°C or LN₂). TEM foils should be in grid boxes inside sealed containers.
argon and nitrogen are okay in theoreticality, but for practical purposes, it come with issues.

You should Store in Vacuum Desiccators keeping the environment cool and dry to Protect the specimens from moisture and oxidation
