I am preparing some metal catalysts supported on TiO2 using impregnation method. After impregnation, the samples were calcined and reduced with N2:H2 stream. The samples were cooled down to room temperature under N2 stream. Now I need to preserve reduced samples for further characterization. Should I keep samples under vacuum or simply store in a air tight container. May I have your valuable suggestions.

Although the samples should be stable enough to bear the ambient condition and not get oxidised again.
But it is better to store them in a vacuum desicator filled with N2 or Ar for their long term stability.

Please, don't worry TiO2 is very stable, so, you can store overnight in desicator ( with used silica gel) after calcined then transfer it to dry and clean container.....
