We will be harvesting roots from seedlings inoculated with ectomycorrhizal fungi and although part of the roots will be snap frozen for further DNA analyses, we would like to store some just in case, for re-isolation of the fungi. We will not have access to Uni labs, so we are considering air-drying or surface sterilisation + storage in sterile water. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Evelina
