I am using a VUMAT code for describing a linear Elasticity? but the code is not working and ABAQUS is showing error: Bad Material definition in element number 1 instance PART-1-1: zero or negative initial dilatational modulus caused by bad material data. Please check your material input and any initial conditions if necessary.
Can somebody tell me how to solve the problem?

To me this sounds like the stresses are not correctly passed back to Abaqus. The easiest way to track this is to create a debug version of your VUMAT: with "write or print statements you can write variables from the subroutine to the abaqus log file. For example: write(*,*)stressNew(k,:) will give you the six stress components for the material point k. That way you can try to track your error and find the point where something is wrong.
Further, it would make sense to start with a single element job, otherwise, such debug output will just blow up your log file.
