If I understand you right, you get your deformations on boundaries of the model.

I think boundaries should be fixed. F you are perform gravity based analysis, you should fix boundaries, at the bottom both in x and y direction, at sides in x direction only, and the top boundary should be free (no use of fix command). If this is not the right proposal, let me know, what you want to do with this analysis.
