You may have figured out this question already. But usually that error message means there is a mismatch between how you are applying the pore water pressure and if you have config gwflow configured in the code of your run ("config gw"). In FLAC 7.0, the water table command only works when the config gwflow is not used. In FLAC 8.0 the water table command will work regardless of if you use config gwflow.

If you are using config gwflow in FLAC 7.0, then you can't use the water table command, but you can still input a pore pressure by using a FISH function with either the pp(i,j) [for zone input] or gpp(i,j) for grid input within your i,j loop. Try both, I can't recall which one works in that scenario, someone else might. The i and j are looping variables inside of the FISH function that you will need to create. You can take a look at the FLAC guidebook I have on researchgate for more info on how to build a FISH function in case you need a refresher. Hope this helps.
