I am trying to do a CFA in Amos; after drawing the model and when I want to calculate estimates, a message is shown at the bottom of page written " not estimating any user-defined estimand" and there is no output text and graphical representation?
I searched in the internet but the solutions didn't helped.
can anyone help me to solve this problem?
Have you selected model fits criteria? after drawing model in CFA, you need to check out a few model fits and standardized loading.
I would like to recommend James Videos on Youtube for ''Measurement Model Fit''. Once watch a video from there.

Have you saved the model?
AMOS will give you a cryptic error message if you forget to save your model before running it, although I am not sure it is this one.
You used a plugin on mediation calculation or you activated user estimands (bottom left, click on the text "user defined estimands"). Then you ran your model without using these estimands but still with the activated plugin (bottom left). The model runs but it just warns you that you did not select the estimand. Deselct it or ignore this message.

Most of the time, adding a regression weight of 1 would solve the problem.
Same problem with me. Plugin (indirect effect) and estimand (specific indirect effects) both are executing the mediation model but the results are not displaying. Only 1st line, p vlaues and references showing.
Even model fit and reliability and validity are also excellent.
This is happening in AMOS 24.
Any help or suggestion????
