I am trying to simulate three edge bearing test of a concrete pipe in ANSYS APDL. I have the pipe resting on two bearers (defined as contact element) and displacement load applied directly on top of the pipe (defined as target element). The solution is done but when I try to plot the deformed and undeformed shape of the pipe, the deformed pipe slides away from its original position. What is wrong with my model and how do I solve this problem? Also attached here is the pic of deformed and undeformed shape and the warnings I got in the error file.
Warnings:
- Contact element 53226 (real ID 4) status changes abruptly from contact (with target element 50833) -> no-contact.
- There is at least 1 small equation solver pivot term (e.g., at the UZ degree of freedom of node 36053) which may indicate a numerically unstable model. Please check your results carefully.

The mentioned problem may result from the following reasons:
1- The boundary conditions are not defined properly and the APDL solving algorithm became divergent.
2- The actuating force is higher than the allowable force, so the structure solving algorithm will not become convergent.
3- Another hidden problem will result from the meshing. You can change the meshing pattern and run the APDL again.
4- Check CONTACT element properties.

Thank you for the response. But I still can't figure it out.
To simulate the test, I have fixed the bearers in all three directions (ux,uy,uz =0) and applied displacement load of 40mm at pipe top. I have meshed the concrete pipe to 20mm mesh size and assigned it as TARGE170 and the bearers as are also mesh in same size and assigned CONTA173. Initially I got an error that there was a gap in contact so I used keyopt, 3(element type 3= CONTAC173), 5,1 to close the gap with auto CNOF.
Was I using the wrong keyopt command? Please help.
