I would like to simulate the penetration depth of liquid cement paste (or water) to the porous existing concrete substrate. I have the 3D porosity model of an existing concrete substrate based on micro-CT analysis. Is somebody able to model the penetration od the liquid medium inside the porous concrete substrate? If yes, please let me know by private message and we will discuss the details and be able to do it together.

Dear Sir,
Though I am not expert in this field, penetration of cement paste is differ from penetration of water, Cement paste viscosity, setting time, particle size, use of admixture hydration and other properties of cement and micro structure of porous medium will affect efficiency of absorption and penetration. Your project / research work will be useful in understanding durability of concrete structures and repairing the old structures. The attached file may be useful for your work.
