I have two antennas (modem-microwave communication- Mikrotik) and I need to set them in the line of sight of each other for good quality(Best SNR) when they are located in different places (latitude and longitude).
I need to know different ways
1) to detect the line of sight direction very fast(automatically).
2) To set the antenna's direction very fast.

Its basically the same technique which you use for the Satellite receiver dish. Adjust the first one such that the antenna lobe goes (approximately but as good as possible) into the right direction and then follow with the second one of course starting already from a reasonable pre-adjustement and then fine tuning
I appreciate your answers. I can't change the height of the antennas and I can't change the position of elevation and azimuth of each of them. I am going to motorize both antennas (elevation and azimuth) and I need to know how these antennas can find each other very fast ( what is the algorithm of searching based on the receiving SNR)
