I am currently synthesising carbon nanodots from various organic precursors. As part of my experimental work, i carried out a process in ethanol and now I need to separate the synthesised material(which is dissolved fully in ethanol) out for further experimentation.
Can anyone suggest me a method to do this?
Your question is a bit vague. It is difficult to know for sure without knowing what is in the solution, and what is the product to be used for next.
Are there other impurities in the solution?
Some common solutions include evaporating off the ethanol, and/or adding a second solvent (miscible with EtOH but product is insoluble in) to precipitate the product.

Try to opt vaccum drying of the carbon dots fully dispersed in ethanol.
As your material is soluble in ethanol so you can dry out ethanol to get your product. If you want to get in crystal form then you have to go for crystallization. You can try mixed solvent or seeding method for quick crystallization.
