I am initiated the work on electric vehicle. I would like to know What are all the parameters we have to consider to select the Electrical motor and the power rating. I would like to work on permanent magnet synchronous motor.

You can select the motor rating as per mechanical load , vehicle and road dynamics. You need to consider all the forces in all the directions.
