How many variables of soil and plant should be included when estimating the multifuncationality for a system? What are the principes to select the variables? Thanks!

this is really a very good question . There are lot many variables related to soil health as well as plant health , depending upon , your objectivity . But , we should take only those variables which are considered highly responsive to any management input . ..
