Hi,

I am assessing a few WEC technologies for a location and try to understand which one is best suited.

I've estimated monthly mean energy productions of the WECs and also their Capacity factors.

The technology with the lower rated power is the one with the lower monthly (and annual) energy production, but with the highest capacity factor.

Putting aside the economy factors, how shall I select the best WEC? Based on highest CF or highest energy production?
