My research Q is "Is there any statistical difference in comparing the effectiveness of Method A , Method B and Method C on participants handball skills, physical ability and intrinsic motivation (with pre and post test)? "
Previously, i was suppose to use a two-way repeated measures MANOVA. So the Q would be "Is there any statistical difference in comparing the effectiveness of Method A , Method B and Method C on participants handball skills (with pre and post test)? " and then "on physical ability" and "intrinsic motivation" respectively.
However, the examiners suggested me to run a SPANOVA. In this case the RQs would be "Is there any statistical difference in comparing the effectiveness of Method A and Method B on participants handball skills, physical ability and intrinsic motivation (with pre and post test)? " and then "Method A and C" and "Method B and C"
However, i am wondering how can i just compare the effects of two of three groups (between-subject factors) on a within-subjects variable (pre and post test). since, if i have three methods that was typed into variable view with Method A=1, Method B=2 and Mehtod C=3. in this case, i wanna identify what the difference between A and B, A and C, C and B. So if i drag the categorical variable to the window (the Between-subjects factor), which still containing those three methods. Here, i am a little bit confused
can i still considering the method of two-way repeated measures MANOVA? if not, why. thank you guys in advance.
