I am currently working on a personal project and one of the objectives is retrieving Leaf Area Index from Landsat data using MODIS LAI product and Surface Reflectance as training data. Can someone guide me on where I can get the Code preferably using R.
Kevin you can do it yourself by taking several samples (pixels value from Modis LAI) and try to find the highest correlation between these values and the bands in Landsat except the thermal one. Than you can create a model from these bands (high correlation) and Modis LAI sample values.
I am working on same project but for vegetation cover analysis, I used PCA and NDVI correlation with MODIS FVC to get model output for it, although the model is in testing state and I want to use different band conbination
