Input files in the LPJ-Guess model can be replaced or recreated by downloading the necessary data from the Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS) database. The database provides a wide range of global climate and land surface information, such as monthly mean air temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, wind speed, soil temperature, leaf area index, and more. Once the necessary data has been downloaded, it can be used to create the necessary input files for the LPJ-Guess model. The data can also be used to modify existing input files if needed.
