For a tracking control system, it is important to evaluate its robustness under uncertainty. Now there are several control methods. Is there a way to quantify the robustness, and compare the differences in robustness between different methods. Hope someone can provide some suggestions, literature or matlab files.

We can quantify the robustness of control systems under uncertainty by using the norms.
H2 or H∞ are Hankel norms they are used to measure the properties of the control system. A norm is an abstraction of the concept of length. These two techniques are frequency domain techniques. The H2 control seeks to delimit the power gain of the system while the H∞ control seeks to limit the energy gain of the system.

In addition to the norm aforementioned, you can use the L2-norm for targeted variable and make a comparison with and without the robust controller. So, you can evidence the advantages of the robust controller.
