Recently, I prepared a crude polymer nanoparticle (hydrodynamic radius ~100 nm) in water with some dissolved polymer impurities (PEI with MW > 750k). I need to remove the dissolved polymer and here are the questions:

1) I have tried centrifugation. However, the nanoparticle can not redisperse in water after centrifuged for several times. Is there any method to prevent this from happening?

2) Somebody suggested me to use dialysis to remove the dissolved polymer. What will be the suitable MWCO of the dialysis tubing?

3) Is there any other method to do the purification?

Thanks a lot.
