Dear sir,
Iam preparing P-amino tert butyl benzamide from p-nitrobenzoic acid 1st acid to acid chloride in presence thionyl chloride 2nd acid chloride to amide in presence of tert butylamine and triethylamine 3rd nitro to amine in presence of iron acetic acid. but p-amino tert butyl benzamide purity geting 97% its forming other impurities how to purify this type of material please give suggestions what impurities possible?

Use basic alumina to pack your column,and run column chromatography.using chloroform:hexane mixture.

Thanks for your suggestions,small quantity getting purity 99% but we are making bulk quantity getting purity 97%
