In my work i have observed narrow peak at 2850 and 2923 cm-1 in FTIR, these are due to hydrogen bonding...but in some literatures they reported as presence of C - H bonds...How can i confirm or support my report that these peaks are due to hydrogen bonding...
the wavenumbers are indeed typical for aliphatic CH stretching modes of organic compounds.
what kind of substance are you analyzing? are you talking about an OH stretching mode, which is shifted in wavenumber as a result of hydrogen bonding? the hydrogen bond vibrationa itself should have a low frequency (in the far-infrared or THz spectral range)
Our substance is glass matrix made up of B2O3- Li2CO3 - LiF - ZnO - Er2O3. I have attached an article for support of hydrogen bonding
The 2800-3000 cm-1 regions of the spectra you gave as reference very much resemble the aliphatic CH stretching mode. Anyway, can you show us one of your spectra?
These are definitely the typical peaks of the symmetric (around 2850 cm-1) and asymmetric (around 2830 cm-1) C-H stretching vibrations in your spectra.
I support the previous answer. The realtive intensity seems to be too large to be an impurity (if performing HATR).Is it possible that a carboxylate (e.g. due to acetic acid or a longer CH2- chain containing acid) is present in your sample?

The FT-IR peak located at 2923cm-1 is indexed to CH2 stretching vibration
The symmetric and asymmetric stretching vibrations are the most probableassigned at these regions of wavenumber. However, the C-H bond can form in different configurations in glass matrix.
