I am working on powder metallurgy. But, I never used iso-static pressing. Your question is critical. Is it possible to use an annular cavity of soft polymer or plastic closed at the lower end and open at the top for filling powder?

I also want to know more about iso-static pressing. Thank you for sharing this question.

Try latex preservative ;) Set your rubber dies with steel mandrel and powder up and put this setup in preservative, then pump it and seal it after vaccuum is achieved.

This should enable CIP procedure and your compact should stay dry..
