I appreciate if you suggest me some solutions to prevent aggregation of TiO2 after surface modification with dopamine.
I have used the following procedure.
TiO2 (1.6 g) and dopamine hydrochloride ( 0.76g) were dissolved
deionized water (1 L) by sonicating for 30 min, then urotropine (2 g) was added and . stirred for 10 min, the mixture was kept in oven 90 °C for 5 h. After centrifugation, the collected precipitate was washed three times with ethanol which was dispersed into an ethanol solution for spin coating.
When I checked the SEM images after modifcation there big particles. TiO2 before modification was well dispersed. I want to make uniform monolayer of TiO2@PDA using spin coating. Could you please help me

To prevent the aggregation of Titania nanoparticles after addition of polydopamine, we can sinter/anneal it at very high temperatures in oven or furnace.
