How to prepare ionic liquid and how to use the ionic liquid for extraction ?., can we use the ionic liquid containing sample for LC-MS?

I m planning to use ionic liquid for extraction but i donot know how to prepare the ionic liquid and also i m having doubt, whether we can use sample containing ionic liquid for LC-MS anlaysis.
