How to prepare Bruchids homogenate for Glutathione s transferase enzyme assay ?

I want to study Glutathione s transferase enzyme in bruchids by Habiq et.al. 1974 method.

I have prepared whole body insect homognate in .1M phosphate buffer and add 1mM PMSF and ImM DTT . is it necessary to add EDTA in homogenate buffer?

I have not find a particular method for homogenate preparation of bruchids for GST enzyme assay.
