Dear All,

Here you are the figure and description of a “do it yourself” face mask. You can prepare it during 10 minutes.

1. You need a textile head scarf. Its measure may be variable, what I indicated in the figure, can circle a normal human head.

2. The scarf should be folded diagonally in half.

3. You refold the lower peak of the scarf and sew it on one layer of the scarf. You put a filter between the two scarf layers. Filter may be paper towel, paper handkerchief, toilet paper, paper napkin or nonwoven fabric https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonwoven_fabric .

The filter should be changed in every 2 hours.

You tie the scarf behind your head tightly but you should be able to untie it. Of course, it is not as efficient as a FFP2 or FFP3 mask but it is better than the normal surgical mask. The scarf can be washed every day.

All the best,
