Does anybody know the formula and preparation of Nickel in different PPM levels using Nickel Chloride salt?

Please let me know, whether the below mentioned calculation is correct? Or I am missing something.

Molar Mass of Nickel = 58.6934 u.

Molar Mass of Nickel Chloride = 129.5994 g/mol

For preparing 1000 ppm [(129.5994*1000/58.6934)] = 2208.07 mg, so i need to weight 2.208 g of Nickel Chloride and dissolve in 1L of distilled water.

Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Anand.
