I want to plot a nyquist plot for a filter constructed using op-amp. Suppose, if I do not know the transfer function of the filter or its order.
1. Draw the bode plot of the filter which includes Magnitude and Phase responses for 0
In most cases, the Nyquist plot is applied to the LOOP GAIN for a circuit with feedback (check the stability properties for the closed-loop system).
Therefore my question: Do you want to perform a STABILITY analysis ?
In this case and if you want to plot a BODE diagram before, you must use the LOOP GAIN function rather than the closed-loop filter response.
Short answer: yes! One question however is what you want to do with this plot...
