For concrete , How to obtain the engineering stress-strain curve having only max stress on cube (ATTENTION , not on cylinder) according to eurocode 2 (or FIP, or model code)?
Eurocode is using fcm to generate s-e. Fcm is for cylinder!!!
There are some proposals to use fcm=fcm,cube*0.8, or others... but when doing simulation and calibrations in abaqus on cubes 150mm and cylinder 100x200 mm , the friction coeff between concrete specimen and steel platens plays a big role in establishing the relationship between resistance on cube vs cylinder .
So, how do u obtain the s-e curve according to eurocode 2 knowing max stress on cube=Fmax/(150*150)?
