We are planning to conduct a questionnaire-based study among dental students of different dental colleges of Nepal (within a country). Should we obtain ethical clearance from each institution's ethical review board or a clearance from one ethical review board is sufficient?
The best way is to obtain clearances from your Institution and if intervention is there than with Nepal Health Research Council.

It is a questionnaire-based cross-sectional study to assess back and neck pain among dental students of different dental colleges (No intervention involved). Should we apply for ethical clearance in each institute or clearance from anyone (BPKIHS) will be sufficient?
As I knew BPKIHS is enough as clearance from our body should be respected for the study purpose as there is no further intervention.
Ethical clearance can be taken from NHRC or any of the approved IRCs . Before applying for the ethical approval, you need to take consent from each respective institutions from where you are collecting data. If you are receiving funding from the foreign source, make sure, you apply to NHRC
If the research sites (other institutions) give the permission for research then it might be easy for conducting the research. But as far as ethical issues, the ethical board from single center may be sufficient for a country. (what i think)
