I am not a computer simulation expert mainly using FEKO software. I use CST software which is very efficient in coaxial cable simulation. But there are some details in your model that you need to be aware of, the main details are:

1) The maximum frequency that you will be able to measure the transfer impedance is up to a maximum of 100 MHz, above this frequency electromagnetic radiation phenomena occur see paper(B. Demoulin and L. Kon, Shielded Cable Transfer Impedance Measurements, IEEE-EMC Newsletter (Fall 2010), 30–37.);

2) I suggest you use a resistive load of the same value as the characteristic cable impedance (Zc = 50 ohms) to avoid wave reflections;

3) I suggest you compare your computational model with Kley's method which already takes into account the openings in the coaxial cable mesh ( XIAO, Pei; DU, Ping-An; ZHANG, Bingxue. An Analytical Method for Radiated Electromagnetic and Shielding Effectiveness of Braided Coaxial Cable. IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility,VOL.61,n.1, p.121-127, Feb.2019).

There is the Kley's model in the FEKO and the CST softwares .

what about the termination? what is the best geometry in order to get a good accuracy for the field to wire coupling through the shield to the inner conductor? Kenedy Marconi

The best option is to ensure a 360 degree contact between the mesh and the ground of the connector and that the cable center conductor also makes a 360 degree contact with the inside of the connector. Avoid the "pig tail"
