How to model smoke propagation for an existing velocity field using scalarTransportFoam in OpenFOAM?

I'm working on a car park ventilation system. Initially I derived velocity field considering exhaust and supply fans. now I want to model smoke field as an scalar using scalarTransportFoam for a fire scenario.
