I'm currently trying to mesh a small domain of a finned-tube heat exchanger, but the fins are helical and not annular.
I have some problems with the meshing. Actually, I have defined shared topology for all my geometry, and so at some locations ansys meshing doesn't mesh correctly the edges (you can see that in the attached images). Can someone help me to solve this problem ?

You should go with edge sizing. It is manual meshing it will help u

Could you check the defeaturing tolerance? It should be less than the smallest details on your geometry.

Just to give you an update on the question, by reducing the defeaturing tolerance, I managed to mesh correctly the geometry.
