I have 1 basic file and created 4 imputed datafiles (3 variables are important in there). I want to merge the 4 imputed datafiles into the basic file (so I can use split file and run my analyses).
Data > Merge Files > Add variables
- Is it okay if the variable 'imputed_' is in the 'Included variables' list, because it's not a 'Key variable' since this is not the same in the basic file?
- Is it correct if the new merged file sorts the cases per ID number? And there are multiple cases (the different imputations) for the same ID number = key variable ?
- Only the original case contains data for every variable, and all the imputed cases contain only data for the imputed variables. Right?
