In my experience, it is best to reduce the amount of surface area before generating the shell, possibly without losing information about the topography of the inner wall of the vessel, and then generate the shell. Personally, I used SpaceClaim from the ANSYS package and Geomagic.

Ahmed G. Rahma Much depends on the complexity of the geometry. The more irregularities, the more difficult it is to reduce the number of triangles representing the surface. It isn't easy to find a golden solution that will always work.

While reviewing various tutorials, I came across an incredible tool that I decided to try out. To my amazement, it turned out to be the golden solution to my problem (on the other hand, It's computationally expensive). The logical next step involves conducting volume analysis and refining the domain further by narrowing down the facets. In fact, I managed to reduce the facets from a staggering 1.1 million to just 18, significantly streamlining the process.
