Dielectric fluid FC-72 is highly volatile in nature and thus is very difficult to measure its contact angle over plain and nanostructured surfaces. Is there any method by which we can measure the contact angle of FC-72 over the metal substrates? Kindly suggest.

Measure at lowered temperatures (e.g. 0 C)
In such cases the measurements should be made in a sealed glass container with precise temperature control and allow the formation of sturated vapor atmosphere around the droplet. Admittedly, this is not easy, but if the droplet continuously evaporates, your will not get the equilibrium contact angle.

I agree with Dr. Banhedy: you can get a correct value of the contact angle at room temperature following to his suggestion.
@Alan F Rawle: Respected Sir. I tried to measure at the low temperature by maintaining the surface above the ice bath. Still, the liquid evaporates and it was very difficult to measure the contact angle.
@Gyorgy Banhegyi : Thank you very much for your kind suggestion sir. Can you give me any reference for similar kind of measurements? People are reporting the contact angle in their works, but nobody is mentioning the method by which it was measured. Kindly give some references if you have.
