Have a look at Schreuder-Gibson work as a starting point, she was one of the first to look into charge retention on electrospun structures. For ideas on measuring charge on spun fibers, I would check the work of Urszula Stachewicz at AGH.

Hello Daniel,

Thank you very much for the valuable articles that introducing me. Both KPFM and electrokinetic analyzer for solid surfaces are very interesting methods for me. I used a zeta sizer for zeta potential measurement of submicron particles in different liquids, but I did not know we can measure the zeta potential of the solid films easily.

Just, is it possible to let me know the reason(s) that you use a silicon wafer as the substrate for PMMA electrospun fibers (for KPFM analysis)? Is it only because of the excellent uniform flat surface of the silicon wafer or other reasons were also behind it?
