The incremental conductance dI/dV can be measured by first setting a DC operating point, Then one inject a small signal ac current in the device I= Im sinwt
and measure the resulting ac voltage Vm sinwt across the device by an AC voltmeter. One uses low frequency as possible.
One then calculates the the differential conductance by dividing Im/Vm.
