I have measured Solar inverter output current (AC). I want to separate the DC component therein. Does anybody has idea how can I measure DC component from captured AC output current in Digital Storage Oscilloscope/Power Analyser??
Check if your power analyser has online Fourier Analysis capability. Many of them do, and it should solve your problem right away by providing all components (including DC) in real time.
Oscilloscopes provided by Agilent Technologies have the option for Fourier analysis. I used this feature often and it should solve your problem very easily.
If you have none of the above, and you want to measure in future, Measure with BW filter ON, then take the difference between the AC and DC coupled peak reading.
channel 1 is set to AC coupling and channel 2 is set to DC coupling , the signal is measured by Ch1 and Ch2 , by math function "sub"in oscilloscope to obtain the difference value between Ch1 and Ch2
