I am planning to do an experiment on gamma wave binaural beats of 40 Hz. I have downloaded this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQXNCwfqRjo from youtube. I was wondering if anybody could help me with the information regarding -
how to make sure about the video of 40 Hz?
and how to find the exact frequency of right and left side of auditory stimuli?

You could use some free audio-editor program such as Audacity, import the youtube-audio file and then do Analyze->plot spectrum (increase size setting to see lower frequencies). Or do frequency analysis in matlab/python. Or preferably I suppose generating your own binaural beats is best. Either way, generating a frequency spectrum plot and then see the two peaks. I don't think you're supposed to see the beat frequency since you've just added two frequencies together and fourier analysis just means taking them apart again. Just make sure the difference between the peaks are the beat frequency you want.
Bo Bekkouche Thanks so much. That's very helpful ! I really don't have any knowledge in this field but so very fascinated about those binaural beats concept for the enhancement of cognitive function. So I am planning to use 290 Hz in right side of headfone and 250 Hz in left side so that we can get 40 Hz for targeted neural oscillation. Is it possible to find both side of frequencies with the software that you mentioned? very looking forward to your help again. Thank you !
I also think the cognitive effects of binaural beats are interesting but the results are mixed so it is good if you are planning to do some study that could perhaps clarify the picture. Yes, both sides should be there if you increase the size parameter in the Plot frequency window.
