What are the chemical/materials to make graphene-water based solution more viscous? Application for ink-jet printing. I have followed articles that use sodium dodecyl sulphate to make graphene ink but the viscosity I get around 1.20 mPa.s
I would try using a low molecular gelator. Alginate might work as I expect it complexes with oxygen on RGO-surface. Hyaluronic Acid could be another candidate. Furhtermore, there are some low molecular gelators, which yield solids at less than 0.1 wt.% gelator.
It very much depends what other properties your ink needs to have.
