I'm quite new to SPSS and need help in how to prepare my data. I've done a survey where I investigate what kind of tools school people use in their work. Every row in my data is one persons response and in one column I have which role the person has in school (teacher, principal, administrative or other). Then I have several columns which contains data for if they use this tool or not. (1=don't use, 2=use)
I want to see if the different roles use different kind of tools in their work and want to do correspondence analysis to get a graphical presentation. How do I prepare my data for this?
Thanks for your reply. The problem I'm having is that I can only add on options (from one column) in correspondance analysis and I need to add 22 options. I guess I have to combine them into one variable but I don't know how.
What I'm trying to accomplish is to do correspondance analysis between tools (VAR19_1 to VAR19_8) and role (V03). In this video he does this manually but I want to know if their is an easier way to do this.
